Welcome to KultraLab

By Steve Baggi

A new challenge beckons.

Firstly, I hope that you and your families are safe and well in these testing times. Over recent months, several of my close family (including myself) have been struck down with Covid-19. We have been incredibly lucky, and all recovered fully, although I know that sadly this is not so for many families.

I wanted to take a little time to share some news with you all. With a heavy heart, I have decided to leave Green Park, a business that I co-founded over 13 years ago alongside Raj and Zena. And wow, what a journey it has been! I have been extremely fortunate to have seen Green Park grow and prosper. I still remember that first day, with three of us in a tiny room in Mayfair (it sounds posh, but we were in the eaves of a very old building in which the lift broke down on a weekly basis!). We stared at a single grubby desk – and wondered which of us would have to sit on the floor! Thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to support us over the years – not least our wonderful colleagues, and all our clients and candidates. I am incredibly proud of what Green Park has become, both in its achievements and its impact on business and society.

For me, though, a new challenge beckons. I am delighted to announce the launch of KultraLab – a behavioural science & technology consulting firm, focused on empowering consumer organisations to create sustainable behavioural change. Thank you so much to Belinda, Guy, Sanjay, Fiona, Gerard, Marcus, Kate, Izzi, Christian, Drew and the rest of the KultraLab team for joining me on this great new adventure.

In recent years, I have had the privilege to work with some of the world’s biggest and best retailers. Many were already struggling with their transformation agendas prior to Covid-19. Then came 2020. Last year changed work forever, with the pandemic significantly accelerating the speed and scale of change required.

We have therefore launched KultraLab because we believe we are past the point of no return – we need to think differently about the world of work. We want to use science and technology as a force for good, to create exceptional organisations by enabling all employees to connect deeply with a business, learn new skills at scale and speed and improve their performance beyond recognition.

We know that it is possible to transform workforces into high performing, inclusive and purpose-led communities of action. Behavioural change sticks, when you base it on behavioural science, mobile communications, AI personalised learning and cultural and performance analytics. We believe it is time for retailers to unleash the power of your people – and we really do mean ALL your people.

The world has changed forever. This is your moment to change – you don’t have to (and probably can’t afford to) go back to pre-Covid ways of working. Those ways probably weren’t working anyway. The organisation that thrives and prosper in this new world will do so by connecting with their workforce in a completely different way.

If you share our passion and want to go on a journey to see what happens when we apply the power of behavioural science together with the latest technology to help accelerate real organisational change then get in contact and join our community.
